1971. Photographs of Hong Yeonggi of Bangeum-dong (town), Unmun-myeon (town), Cheongdo-gun (county), Gyeongsangbuk-do. Before the government began directing the New Village Movement, Hong Yeonggi developed his own New Village Movement in Bangeum-dong to make the village live well. This story shows that individual efforts to improve lives existed in rural society beneath the government policies.
