The Korean Provisional Government was in Shanghai for 13 years from 1919 to 1932. Under financial difficulties, it had to move its office to 12 different locations. Pictures here show the last office that the Provisional Government used in Shanghai, the only remaining Provisional Government office today. In this office, the Provisional Government created the Korean Patriotic Corps to find a way out of the difficulties of the independence movement. This is also where it planned the patriotic deeds of Yi Bongchang and Yun Bonggil. This office was registered as a Chinese Priority Cultural Relic Preserve denomination no. 17 of Luwan-qu, Shanghai-shi in 1990, and was reconstructed in April 1993. Date: March 1926 - late April 1932 Address: 306-4 Madang-lu, Luwan-qu, Shanghai-shi
