Jiaxing_Residence of Provisional Government figures in Jiaxing
This is where Yi Dongnyeong and other figures of the Provisional Government took refuge with the help of the Chinese government, when the Provisional Government left Shanghai for Hangzhou following Yun Bonggil’s patriotic deed. In 1935, when the Provisional Government was in a state of anarchy, the Provisional Government was able to revive as a cabinet council held on a boat on Nanhu (South Lake) in Jiaxing-shi. In 1995, Jiaxing city repaired the remains and made an exhibition hall with photographs and documents related to the Korean Provisional Government.
