Shanghai_Exhibition hall for Yun Bonggil (Maeheon)
Exhibition hall about Maeheon Yun Bonggil in Shanghai. This exhibition hall is located in Hongkou Park, where Yun Bonggil attacked Japanese officials on April 29, 1932. Hongkou Park was renamed as Lu Xun Park in 1989. In 1994, the pavilion commemorating Yun Bonggil was completed and it was named “Meiting 梅亭” (Plum Blossom Pavilion) after Yun Bonggil’s nom de plume, Maeheon 梅軒 (House of Plum Blossom). In 1998, a monument commemorating Yun Bonggil’s patriotic deed was erected in front of the Meiting. In 2003, an exhibition about Yun’s life and activities was made in the Meiting, which was renamed as Maeheon in 2009. Address: Lu Xun Park, Hongkou-qu, Shanghai-shi
