Historical remains of activities of the Korean Provisional Government in Changsha: the Korean Revolutionary Party- led by Ji Cheongcheon was headquartered in this building. On May 6, 1938, figures from the three main parties of the Provisional Government were discussing a merger of the parties here. Suddenly, Yi Unhan from the Korean Revolutionary Party fired a gun. Hyeon Ikcheol was killed on the spot, Kim Gu and Yu Dong-yeol were severely wounded, and Ji Cheongcheon was slightly injured.
